Sarah Jane’s images of childhood really speak to me. They’re not just cute—I mean, they are cute. But I think they strike home for me because they’re based on things kids really like and do.
When I was little and visiting my grandparents, my grandpa would spray paint a hopsotch for me on the driveway. The rain eventually washed it away, but it lasted for weeks and I’d play on it every day. I’ve also been known to hit the dress-up box pretty hard.
The Sarah Jane shop is a real treasure trove. Check it out here.
